The picture was made using various layers of color, starting from a base of acrylic ground on which paper elements have been applied to create textures and characterize the composition. The painting depicts a girl, a young lady, quietly sitting on a sofa intent on sipping his coffee while carefully watching the scene in front of her. Someone who speaks and who draws his attention. The composition is divided into three blocks: the sofa, the girl and the red element at the top which serves to catch the attention. The eye is surprised by this flash of light and remains trapped, fragments of red refract it and echo in other parts of the painting leading the observer to discover the characteristics of the picture. The work, carried out on a forex sheet (rigid PVC) with a 2 cm thick wooden frame, is sold without frame but provided with hangers and is therefore ready to be hung as it is. This is obviously a unique signed copy of the front and rear along with a certificate attesting to the uniqueness of the work of artist and my data. Shipment : The painting comes packed wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap and then sealed in a sturdy cardboard box. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and in the world and many works are in public and private collections.
Through his work he analyzes and represents the life around him. The preferred subjects are human figures, landscapes and cities but what matters most is to discover the relationships between shapes and colors that are evident from the careful observation of reality; as a result of all this it is expressed in a strictly personal representation of the object. Through the filter of his works observers can therefore grasp the point of his personal views, but they are also free to interpret the subject at will, and thus to ideal redefinition. Ultimately, with its colors, its designs, shapes painting suggests a possible interpretation of reality, his.
The ideas
Each painting has its own history and its own staff gestation. Everyone can contribute to the initial spark , a picture , a phrase, a music. Before starting I spend much time thinking about the overall design of the new table, the patterns of colors to use , what to emphasize and what to leave in the background. Generally I take a lot of notes, sketches, I feel the colors, shadows, shred the subject in portions then recompose otherwise, schematically various compositions. This whole process can take days or weeks but when it’s time to paint the work is spun down without a second thought.
The materials
Works on paper. Using watercolors on handmade paper with cotton rags , is a beautiful card , imported from India , heavy and wrinkled, with a strong personality that requires much attention and experience to master it.
Works on canvas. Acrylics allow me to work in a manner similar to watercolors on surfaces other than paper and I guarantee you great freedom of expression.
