I let the stained glass panel do the "painting" subject. It sets the mood. Western Art. In this piece I saw the Buttes of the southwest and a night scene. Reminds me of a John Wayne movie. I used glass enamel paint to suggest the landscape. My paintings are best displayed with natural sunlight or a light source reflecting off the front. They glow because the stained glass foundation is so beautiful and textural. The more direct the light the more they "come to life". The paint cures in 21 days (according to the bottle) to a "top shelf dishwasher safe" standard. But I would not put it in the DW. I framed this in a beautiful deep "stacked" Eastlake Frame from an Antiques mall.
