I like old abandoned barns as they look they might have some mysterious interesting stories behind. I found one of them near the beach on the way down to Monterey from San Francisco. It was located inside of someone's private land and I could peep in along the wooden fences opened. The most beautiful and impressive one that strongly appealed me to paint was the dazzling sunlight and the shadows of the wooden fences drawn on to the road leading to the barn. To me, the trees and shadows looked like dancing with the splendid sunlight. Fantastic!!! We can find many wonderful scenes where there is a strong sunlight. I found one of them near the beachside along the highway down to Monterey. It looked that the sun was dancing with the shadows it created. I used to be a chemical engineer, a businessman in the petroleum/gas industries and retired as a CEO of a construction company. But now I'm just a humble artist, a painter. I am very proud that I'm an artist as I'm enjoying my role in the world creating artworks, a new world of my own on the canvases.
