La imagen de Washington cruzando el río Delaware siempre me ha fascinado. Las masas de hielo que flotan alrededor de los barcos contrastan con las coloridas vestimentas de los personajes. Pero, ¿qué pasaría si toda la imagen siguiera un patrón cúbico como el del hielo? Esa idea es la que me hizo volver a publicar la imagen de Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze que se puede ver en el Museo Metropolitano de Arte de Nueva York. El título que le he dado a la imagen es un juego de palabras: (P) Santo (gonal) Washington. Una imagen reinventada que ahora se puede colgar en su sala de estar o en su espacio de trabajo.
