This impressive oil painting shows a lioness in a dramatic, nocturnal scene. The essence and power of this majestic feline predator has been masterfully captured. Her face is worked out in detail and takes centre stage in the painting. The lioness's amber-coloured eyes gaze intensely and vigilantly, further emphasising her presence.
